Maggie Donaghy, graduate of the Neighborhood Playhouse and the University of North Carolina, also studied with Uta Hagen, Sandy Meisner, Martha Graham, Sidney Pollack and The Open Theatre. In New York she performed on Broadway, film and TV. In Colorado, she appeared with the Shakespeare Festival and Little Theatre of the Rockies, and is Artistic Director of the Holy Cow! Theatre Co. Maggie has taught in the Boulder/Denver area for over 20 years. Classes offered at Naropa and The Studio.

Open to beginners and experienced students wishing to further develop personal resources and presence. Short scenes, monologues, improvisation and communication techniques build a strong foundation for performance.

IMPROV & SCENE STUDY

14 weeks, 7-10 pm

$490 ($35/class)

Improvisation develops awareness, spontaneity and confidence. We learn script analysis, preparation and genuine characterization through two-person scenes. The last class showcases the scenes for an invited audience.
